9 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Northern Circuit Route

OVERVIEW

The 8 Days Northern Circuit Route is the most scenic and least crowded trail on Mount Kilimanjaro. Starting on the western side, it follows the Lemosho Route before turning north around the mountain’s remote slopes. The route offers incredible panoramic views, gradual altitude gain, and plenty of time to acclimatize — resulting in one of the highest summit success rates. From lush rainforest to rugged alpine desert, every day reveals new landscapes and perspectives of Africa’s highest mountain. With eight days on the trail, this climb provides the perfect balance between challenge and comfort, allowing trekkers to truly experience Kilimanjaro’s vast wilderness in solitude and beauty.
